Fish and spinach congee is a light yet nourishing meal that introduces babies to new flavors while providing important nutrients for growth. The rice porridge becomes soft and creamy, making it easy for babies to eat.

White fish such as cod or tilapia is mild in flavor and rich in protein. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids that support brain development. When flaked into soft congee, fish becomes tender and easy for babies to swallow.

Spinach adds iron, vitamin C, and important minerals that support healthy development. Finely chopping or pureeing spinach allows it to blend smoothly into the porridge.

This simple congee is a great way to introduce seafood in a gentle, baby-friendly way.
